I’ve played with my Writely account since last year. You can create documents, add collaborators and save your finished document to .doc, .rtf and .pdf formats. However, this is the coolest thing. I’m actually creating my post for this blog from within Writely. I’ll also post this to my blog (located at Typepad) directly via Writely. Now this is cool.
Writely has a nifty DHTML/AJAX interface that lets you format all of hour text just as you would with Microsoft Word. And, Google has now bought the company and should put some significant resources behind what is already a good product.
