A year and a half ago, I had looked hard at the Apple Watch and found many reasons to say no. Take a look back at a post I published back in 2015: http://100.24.121.224/apple-watch-its-not-time-for-me/.
First, it’s rectangular and I like round. It was tethered to the iPhone. Now it’s not. The Apple Watch 3 has twice the storage, a new dual-core chip and a sapphire crystal. Most of all, Apple added GPS and LTE.
So, late last fall, soon after it’s launch, I bought one. And now I wear it more than any of my other watches. Most still describe it as an extension of an iPhone. I believe it’s now a great watch.
